Forty four years ago Security Equipment Company, Inc. began to help the people of Tennessee secure their property and persons. Started in McMinnville, Tennessee, as a simple burglar alarm company it quickly expanded into fire alarms and now has grown into a service and installation company providing a broad range of low voltage security and networking services.
Security Equipment Company in 1987 became a Notifier fire alarm dealer. Notifier is a division of the Honeywell Life Safety Group which is the largest manufacturer of fire alarm equipment worldwide. As a Notifier dealer, Security Equipment Company is one of a limited number of authorized dealers allowed to install and service this internationally recognized brand of fire alarm equipment.
Security Equipment Company was the first alarm contracting company licensed in Tennessee and holds Alarm Contractor license No. 001.
